It is the week after my debut album released. This also happens to be the first day of a week that won't be filled with performances, rehearsals, and concerts.
So how's Identity doing? So far Love and Despair has 250+ plays on Spotify followed closely by Know Me, Let Me Down, and Dangerous. On iTunes, things are understandably smaller numbers but that's normal.
In terms of performances, I performed an 8 song set at my album release party. Those songs were Know Me, Let Me Down, Make It Rain, Vapor, Make You Feel My Love, Dangerous, and Real. I also performed Let Me Down at the WaHi Chamber Choir concert last night. I'm looking towards setting up an album-spanning concert to perform the whole album along with some covers and possibly some new material at the start of the new year.
The future holds exciting things. My bubble of musicians, photographers, and people I'm able to work with is rapidly growing as I'm able to get more exposure. The next step for me is to continue performing in as many places as is possible and get more experience with everything that's involved with an album release. In terms of what I'm working on next musically, I will be working on a completely new project - what that is going to be I have no idea but I have some great ideas to spice things up.
I'm going to get working on music videos for some of the songs off the album as well. All three singles most likely will have corresponding music videos.
The last thing I wanted to address is physical CDs - I'm looking into getting those figured out on Amazon. They were supposed to technically release November 30 but they're still not showing up yet so I have an email in to the support people to get that all worked out.
